# In-Engine Tutorial

Source: https://tweens.gd/tutorial/in-engine/

The [tutorial](https://tweens.gd/tutorial/)’s five steps, as a Godot project. Each step runs its lesson scene and shows the code that runs, in C# or GDScript.

Download [`tweens.gd-tutorial.zip`](https://github.com/outfox/tweens.gd/releases/latest/download/tweens.gd-tutorial.zip) from the latest release. The project includes the tweens.gd addon.

Download Godot 4.7.2 .NET from [godotengine.org](https://godotengine.org/download/), and the [.NET 8 SDK or later](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download). The tutorial’s interface is written in C#, so the GDScript lessons need the .NET edition too.

## Open and run

1. Extract the ZIP into a new folder.

2. Open it like any Godot project: in the Project Manager, choose **Import**, select the folder’s `project.godot`, and let the editor finish importing.

3. Poke around as much as you like. `Lessons/` holds a C# scene and a GDScript scene for each step; open one and press **F6** to run it on its own.

4. Press **Play** (**F5**) and choose C# or GDScript in the tutorial’s header. Godot builds the C# project first; that build can need internet access to restore the Godot .NET SDK from NuGet.

While the tutorial runs from the editor, **Open in editor** above an example opens that example’s scene.
