# Frequently asked questions

Source: https://tweens.gd/faq/

tweens.gd makes motion easy to reuse and quick to write, in C# and GDScript.

## Why use it alongside Godot’s Tween?

Keep the motion

Define an animation once, then start independent copies on different nodes. Tune one definition instead of repeating property paths and settings.

Choose the syntax

Use explicit Godot values or brief tuples and arrays. C# also has extensions that start directly on a node.

Shape and vary

Mix In and Out easing families, add punch and shake, or scale a shared motion for a stronger hit.

## Where should I start?

Follow the [five-step tutorial](https://tweens.gd/tutorial/). Use the [easing playground](https://tweens.gd/easings/) when you want to compare how curves feel.

Both languages are in beta

APIs may change. Check [compatibility](https://tweens.gd/compatibility/) for engine and export requirements.
